A Homestuck Alternate Universe which takes place at the turn of the 20th century at the very end of the Victorian Era. In this universe there exists 3 races.
Humans - The established dominant race of the world.
Carapace - A race recently recognized for it's Sentience, but rarely found breaking out of low economic status due to still being perceived as 'less than' humans. Largely regarded responsible for being behind the sudden uprising of crime syndicates. Most notable for two ever growing rival mobs, The Felt and The Midnight Crew.
Trolls - A race still regarded by the majority as nothing more than Beasts and Drones for their more grotesque appearances. While the majority are completely sentient, they are found kept as anywhere from servants, to pets, to even livestock.
However, growing numbers of troll keepers are learning of the intelligence of the race, resulting in inter species relationships becoming a commonality amongst those who spend their lives side by side with them.

Naw, although Nepeta behaves that way with normal feral cats, that roam around the ranch at night.
Feral trolls are uncommon and those that do have owners aren’t allowed to roam around freely.
It’s a grubhood fear.

I wanted to upload some scribbles I did of Petstuck Sollux. Redesigned his grub form to look something more like a fat chicken type thing.
Also a concept design for Mituna. Unfortunately, the two won’t ever meet considering Mituna is the precursor for Sollux’s species.
